Western North Carolina and the families that create its love, beauty and unending strength have been decimated by flooding from Helene. The tiny town of Hot Springs, nestled between Spring Creek and the French Broad River went underwater from both. It was surrounded, wiping out roads, bridges, homes, cars, and the businesses this tourist-economy town needs to live.  85% of the town's economy is gone, leaving too many without jobs or a way to earn money.

While the struggle continues, Christmas is coming, adding a level of pressure to parents who are already laden with bills, and children who won't easily understand that the flood that traumatized them will also keep Santa away.  Please help us keep that from happening.
